    Dozens of animals were killed in a fire in Woodstock on Saturday.

    Dozens of goats, lambs, chickens and rabbits were killed in a fire in Woodstock on Saturday.

    The Woodstock fire marshal said 40 to 50 animals died in the fire at 124 Redhead Hill Road.

    A post on the Muddy Brook Fire Department Facebook page says the house is unoccupied, but farming equipment was also destroyed.

    The cause of the fire is not known.
