    A New Jersey man is facing charges after he was clocked driving 120 mph on Interstate 89 in Swanton, Vermont.

    Vermont State Police said a trooper was on I-89 around 9:48 a.m. Friday when he saw a motor vehicle pass him at speeds in excess of 120 mph.

    The driver, Vibhor Dhadda of Fort Lee, New Jersey, was stopped and charged with careless and negligent operation and excessive speed. U.S. Border Patrol assisted state police in the motor vehicle stop to ensure the safety of all involved.

    Dhadda was released with a citation to appear in Franklin County Superior Court on March 28 to answer to the charges.
