Driver Identified in Fatal N.H. Crash

New Hampshire state police say 21-year-old Mason Cliche of Jefferson was ejected from his car in the crash early Sunday

Police have identified a driver who died at the scene of a single-vehicle crash in northern New Hampshire over the weekend.

New Hampshire state police say 21-year-old Mason Cliche of Jefferson was ejected from his car in the crash early Sunday. He had been driving north on Meadows Road in Jefferson, went off the road and struck a telephone pole. The car rolled and came to rest on its roof.

Police say speed and alcohol may have been factors in the crash.

The crash is still under investigation.
