Driver Killed in Crash Involving Ambulance

Boston Police confirm 2 EMTs suffered non-life-threatening injuries in crash at Back Bay intersection where 2 pedestrians were fatally struck in June

A driver was killed Monday night in a crash with an ambulance, Boston Police confirmed Tuesday.

The crash took place at the corner of Beacon and Fairfield Streets, the same Back Bay intersection where two pedestrians were struck and killed in June.

Two EMTs in the ambulance suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to Boston Medical Center, where the driver of the other vehicle was pronounced dead.

Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
