We are about ready to start a hot and humid stretch of weather. Our air-mass will turn tropical and thunderstorms will become numerous - starting Wednesday and lingering through next Tuesday. There is a chance that parts of New England will see a soaking rain.

Currently those tropical rains are falling in Florida. Flood watches are up for the Gulf Coast side of the Sunshine State. Two feet of rain is possible in that part of the state. Now, the question is - will that tropical connection make it to New England?
