Police in Wareham, Massachusetts, arrested an intoxicated driver after he sideswiped a car, Thursday night.
34-year-old Joal Cordoza was driving under the influence when he struck the car on Sandwhich Road, police say.
Cardoza fled the scene, but police were able to pull him over a little ways down the road.
While responding to the scene, an officer noticed a pick-up truck stopped on Main Street in the area of Center Street with two flat tires and obvious damage.
Further investigation determined the vehicle was involved in the accident.
A passenger riding with Cardoza, Kelvin Andrews, was also intoxicated and had a bottle of vodka in hand.
The incident marks Cardoza's third alleged OUI offense.
