An elderly woman hit by a vehicle Tuesday morning in Danvers, Massachusetts, has died, according to police.
Danvers police say the vehicle that hit the 70-year-old woman on Hobart Street stayed on the scene and the driver is cooperating.
The victim was taken to Beverly Hospital, where she passed away.
Her name has not been released pending next-of-kin notification.
The crash remains under investigation, and charges have not been filed.
