Ex-Cheerleading Coach Indicted on Charges of Alleged Rape of Student Athlete

A former West Bridgewater cheerleader coach has been indicted on charges of allegedly raping a female athlete in Massachusetts.

A Plymouth County Grand Jury handed indictments Tuesday against Nicholas Johnson, of Brockton, for aggravated rape of a child and enticement of a child under 16.

Back in October, West Bridgewater Police said they received a report from the victim's parents regarding the alleged sexual incidents.

Johnson worked for around one year as their daughter's gymnastic coach at Full House All Stars Cheerleading gym.

Policed contacted Johnson about the allegations. He was fired from Full House All Stars in October.

He's currently on a $50,000 cash bail and will be arraigned in Brockton Superior Court on the charges.
