Ex-Detective to Head Security at Revamped Providence Strip Club

Louis D. Stravato, who was also a competitor in "Amazing Race," will run security at the Wild Zebra Gentlemen's Club

A retired Providence, Rhode Island, detective will head security at a new Providence club that replaces another business shut by police over prostitution accusations.

Louis D. Stravato, who also was a competitor in "Amazing Race," will run security at the Wild Zebra Gentlemen's Club.

The Providence Journal reports that he says he's seeking other retired officers and promised to make sure everything is done properly.

The Wild Zebra takes the place of the Cheaters Gentlemen's Club, which closed in 2013 after police found an underage dancer and prostitution inside.

The owner said the 14-year-old girl's fake IDs got past his manager. He denied knowing what transpired between the dancers and customers paying for private booths.

Stravato said the new licensee is eliminating back rooms and booths.
