FBI Makes Multiple Arrests During Maine Raid

Several suspects were taken into custody

The FBI arrested multiple people following a raid in Portland, Maine, on Friday.

A search warrant was executed during the raid on Smith Street. FBI agents, including several from the agency's Boston office, were present at the raid.

Neighbors who witnessed the event say police used stun grenades to storm the apartment. Several men and one woman were arrested.

Another arrest, in connection to the raid, was made shortly thereafter at Franklin Towers.

A neighbor who lives near the apartment provided the authorities with surveillance footage and pictures of people who were living in the apartment. The pictures showed the occupants dealing and using crack cocaine.

Further details regarding the identity of the suspects have not yet been released.
