The murder trial of a Maine man accused of luring and killing a teen via Facebook is entering its second week.

Twenty-one-year-old Kyle Dube of Orono is accused of using a phony Facebook account to kidnap 15-year-old Nichole Cable and then kill her in May 2013. The trial began Feb. 23 and is expected to last about two weeks.

Prosecutors say DNA evidence ties Dube to Cable's disappearance. His attorneys say someone else killed the Old Town High School student.

Detectives, friends and family members testified during the first week. A detective played an interview he recorded with Dube between Cable's disappearance and the discovery of her body. Dube says in the recording that he doesn't know why a fictitious Facebook account was traced to his home.
