A deadly rollover on Route 24 southbound in Brockton, Massachusetts shut down part of the highway Friday morning.
The crash happened just after 5 a.m. south of exit 18 in the area of Route 123.
Massachusetts police confirm the driver suffered fatal inuries in the crash. No other passengers were in the car and no other cars were involved. The name of the driver has not been released.
Commuters should expect significant delays in both directions. Three southbound travel lanes were closed as authorities investigated the crash, with traffic passing in the breakdown lane. All lanes have since been reopened and the scene has been cleared.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
