A Maine man is dead after losing control of his vehicle and crashing on Interstate 95 in New Hampshire, according to New Hampshire State Police.
The single-vehicle accident occurred around 3:20 p.m. near Exit 3. A preliminary investigation reveals that Rodney Hoverson, 54, went off the left side of the highway and re-entered a paved portion of the road before the car flipped over several times.
Hoverson was not wearing a seatbelt and was thrown from the vehicle. He was taken to Portsmouth Regional Hospital where he died as a result of his injuries.
Passenger Darren Carlton, 46, was taken to the same hospital and received treatment for non-life threatening injuries. Carlton was wearing his seatbelt.
No one else was involved in the accident.
