The father of Bella Bond, a 2-year-old whose identity was learned months after her body washed up in a bag on Boston's Deer Island, has been arrested.
The girl, known as Baby Doe since she was found dead in June of 2015, was identified in September. Rachelle Bond, the victim's mother, was charged alongside her boyfriend, Michael McCarthy, in the child's murder.
Authorities confirm Bella Bond's father, Joseph Amoroso, was arrested Friday night on larceny charges in Revere, Massachusetts.
Amoroso was released on bail and will likely be arraigned Monday morning.
This is not the first time Amoroso has been arrested since learning of his daughter's death. In December, he was also charged with larceny over $250 for allegedly shoplifting.
