A convicted felon in New Hampshire has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for being in possession of a firearm.
32-year-old Joshua Fields of Nottingham pleaded guilty to the charge on July 3. He admitted that on Nov. 19, 2013, he and others participated in a burglary in Candia.
Among the items stolen during the burglary were six firearms.
Six days later, Fields and two accomplices entered the Kittery Trading Port in Maine, where they attempted to pawn one of the stolen firearms. As a convicted felon, it was unlawful for Fields to possess a firearm.
