A female was hospitalized with stab wounds to the back after an incident in Hartford late Saturday night.
Hartford police responded to 9 Dorothy Street at about 9:19 p.m. and found a female in the front yard with two puncture wounds to the back.
The woman did not tell police what happened or who stabbed her.
She was taken to St. Francis Hospital in Hartford to be treated for her stab wounds and is listed in stable condition.
Officers were unable to interview her.
Police canvassed the area and didn't find any weapons or locate any suspects.
The circumstances surrounding the stabbing is unknown and police have not identified the victim.
