A fire in Milton, New Hampshire, on Tuesday night left an area family with two children homeless right before Christmas.

Firefighters in Milton, New Hampshire, are collecting donations of money, toys and clothes for a family who lost their home to a fire on Tuesday night.

"As many of you have heard, there was a devastating fire in town tonight," Milton Fire-Rescue said in a Facebook post on Tuesday. "A family of four lost everything. The children are twins, boy and girl, and in kindergarten."

No one was injured in the fire.

The Milton Public Safety Association is accepting donations, and will forward them to the family. The young girl is size 5-6 and the boy is 5T. Lightly used clothing is being accepted, as long as it is washed and left in a bag.
