2-Alarm Fire Displaces 10 Residents

Ten people were displaced by a fire in a multi-family dwelling in Manchester, New Hampshire early Thursday morning.

Manchester firefighters were called to 103 Brook St. at 4:23 a.m. for a report of a building fire. The fire reportedly started in the basement and ultimately escalated to 2 alarms.

The fire reportedly caused $60,000 in damage, mostly to the basement and first floor. Ten occupants were displaced.

An official cause has not been determined, but the Manchester Fire Department said it may have been electrical in nature.
