Fourteen residents of two buildings were displaced in a 3-alarm fire Wednesday in Everett, Massachusetts.
The fire broke out at 11 Oakland Ave., with the call coming in around 5:30 p.m. A second alarm was struck as firefighters arrived to find heavy fire on the rear porches of that building and 9 Oakland Ave. beside it. Within 20 minutes, the fire went to a third alarm.
No one was injured, and all tenants were evacuated from the buildings without needing to be rescued.
The cause of the fire is not yet known, with police assisting in the investigation.
