Five Adults Displaced After 3-Alarm Fire Destroys Home in Roslindale, Massachusetts

Chief estimates $750,000 in damages to the home

Five adults are displaced after a 3-alarm fire tore through their home in Roslindale, Massachusetts late Saturday evening.

The Boston Fire Department responed to 139 Walter St. for a building fire at 11:50 p.m. Upon arrival, they found a two and a half story building under heavy fire. 

The Boston Fire Department says three residents were removed outside from the single family home without injuries.

The fire later blazed through the roof of the building at which point third alarm was ordered.

Fire Investigators came to the scene to determine a cause and point of origin of the fire.
