Snowstorm Could Impact Flights

Travelers are lined up early at Boston's Logan Airport to beat the rush.

Thanksgiving travel across New England could be slow, messy and dangerous in many areas, as a nor’easter is expected to dump six-to-10 inches of snow throughout the region.

Travelers are lined up early at Boston's Logan Airport to beat the rush.

Hundreds of flights have been cancelled up and down the east coast ahead of the storm, but so far there have been no major issues at Logan.

Some airlines have waived fees so passengers could change their flights.

MassPort is prepared to keep runways clear. Ed Freni, director of aviation at MassPort, says the winds are the biggest concern with temperatures staying above freezing in the Logan area.
