A plane that took off from Boston was forced to return to Logan International Airport Friday evening after an odor of smoke was smelled in the plane's cabin.
JetBlue Flight 1281 was bound for Richmond, Virginia. It had to turn back shortly after it departed.
The flight's passengers are being taken to their destination on another aircraft.
The plane landed without incident, according to Massport. JetBlue Airways says the plane is being checked.
