Florida Man Facing Drug, Child Endangerment Charges After Traffic Stop

A Florida man is facing a slew of drug charges as well as child endangerment after Massachusetts State Police say he was driving erratically in Sturbridge on Saturday.

A trooper saw the man driving a Nissan at about 8 p.m. on Interstate 84.

When the trooper stopped the man, he noticed a young child in the back seat.

Police said after an investigation, the trooper discovered heroin, oxycodone and tramadoland pure THC in the vehicle.

The driver, Austin Thomas, 30, of Cloud, Florida, was taken into custody for operating under the influence of drugs.

He was later released on $5,000 bail.
