Former Mayor Aid's Corruption Trial to Begin

Melix Bonilla has pleaded not guilty to corruption charges

The trial of a former aid to Lawrence, Massachusetts, Mayor William Lantigua begins Tuesday.

Lantigua's former deputy chief of police, Melix Bonilla, has pleaded not guilty to corruption charges.

Prosecutors say that Bonilla illegally swapped 13 cars seized by the Lawrence Police Department for four cars owned by a dealer with close ties to Lantigua.
