Heroin, Cocaine and Cash Seized in Thorndike Drug Bust

Palmer police say they seized heroin, cocaine and cash following an investigation in Thorndike, Massachusetts on Saturday.

According to officials, an officer on patrol on Church Street in Thorndike observed suspicious activity by the Junction Variety Store Saturday at 7 p.m.

The officer investigated and found 200 bags of heroin, 1.1 grams of crack cocaine and $2,257 in cash.

Officers placed three adults, one from Chicopee and two from Holyoke, under arrest.

They are charged with possession of class A and class B drugs with intent to distribute, police said.

The identities of the suspects have not been released. It is unclear whether they have attorneys.
