Hundreds of Bags of Heroin Found in Raid Near Plainfield Elementary School

Police found more than 200 bags of heroin when they raided a house across the street from an elementary school in the Moosup section of Plainfield on Wednesday night and four people were arrested.

Police officers from Plainfield and the K-9 unit from Putnam searched apartment 1 of 14 Church Street around 8 p.m. on Wednesday during a drug investigation and said they seized heroin, as well as some crack cocaine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia, and took four people into custody.

Travis Golden, 34, and Kimberly L. Johnson, 36, who live in the home as well as Kara D. Racine, 22, and Michael Fisher, 22, both of Danielson, were arrested on several drug charges, including possession of heroin, crack cocaine and marijuana with intent to sell and having them within 1,500 feet of a school.
