Officials in Maine and New Hampshire say there were several crashes reported on major bridges due to icy conditions Wednesday morning.
Accidents were reported on the Piscataqua River Bridge, Sarah Mildred Long Bridge and the Memorial Bridge.
New Hampshire State Police said the accidents on the Sarah Mildred Long Bridge and the Piscataqua River Bridge happened around 5:30 a.m.
All of the accidents were minor and there were no injuries.
Officers from the Portsmouth Police Department, New Hampshire State Police and Kittery Police responded as well as the New Hampshire Department of Transportation to salt and sand the bridges.
