Inmate Convicted of Manslaughter Dies at Hospital

A Maine prison inmate serving a sentence for a manslaughter conviction has died at a hospital.

A Maine prison inmate serving a sentence for a manslaughter conviction has died at a hospital.

The state Department of Corrections says 51-year-old Steven Holloway was an inmate of the Maine State Prison in Warren. It says he died Sunday morning at Pen Bay Medical Center in Rockport. It hasn't released details of his death.

State police and the medical examiner's office are reviewing the death.

Holloway was from Cumberland County. He had served about 15 years and was scheduled to be released in October 2018.
