Motorcyclist Airlifted After I-93 Crash

A man was critically injured Friday after crashing his motorcycle on I-93 in New Hampton, New Hampshire.

Part of the northbound side of the highway was temporarily shut down after the 50-year-old motorcyclist crashed just before 1:30 p.m. The road was reopened in about 50 minutes.

The crash happened near Exit 23. Traffic was diverted there onto Route 132 and sent back on at Exit 24 in Ashland.

The man was airlifted to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in critical condition.

His identity is being withheld by police.
