Aisling Brady McCarthy was granted bail in the case earlier this month, more than two years after her arrest

The trial date for an Irish nanny accused of killing a baby who was in her care in Cambridge, Massachusetts, has been tentatively set for later this year.

Aisling Brady McCarthy was granted bail in the case earlier this month, more than two years after her arrest. The judge has asked for Oct. 13 as a tentative start to her trial.

McCarthy was living illegally in the U.S. and taking care of the baby in the family's Cambridge home. She has pleaded not guilty.

Her next status hearing will be June 9. She's being represented by Melinda Thompson.
