JetBlue flights from Boston to Charleston, SC, and Fort Lauderdale, FL, were cancelled Thursday on account of Hurricane Matthew.
The hurricane strengthened to a class 4 earlier today.
Nearly 2,700 flights have been cancelled from Wednesday through Friday in anticipation of Matthew, according to FlightAware.com as of Thursday morning.
