The father of Bella Bond failed to show up for his scheduled court appearance on Tuesday and a warrant has now been issued for his arrest.
Joseph Amoroso was arrested Friday on larceny charges in Revere, Massachusetts. He was set to be arraigned on Tuesday in Chelsea District Court but he never showed up.
Amoroso is the father of Bond, the 2-year-old whose identity was learned months after her body washed up in a bag on Boston's Deer Island in June of 2015.
The girl, who became known as Baby Doe, was finally identified in September of 2015. Rachelle Bond, the girl's mother, was charged alongside her boyfriend, Michael McCarthy, in the child's murder.
This is not the first time Amoroso has been arrested since learning of his daughter's death. In December, he was also charged with larceny over $250 for allegedly shoplifting.
