Judge Lets Teen in Transfer Dispute Play Football

Senior Kevin Mensah is back on the field for his high school football team after a dispute regarding his transfer.

Mensah missed two games this season after transferring to Shepherd Hill High School in Charlton, Massachusetts. The Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association labeled his transfer "inappropriate" and ruled him ineligible.

"It's not over, but I'm relieved that I'm playing tonight," he said.

Mensah and his mother were in court for the ruling Friday, but it only affected that night's game. The judge will hear more arguments next week.
