Judge Rejects Most Requests from Nathaniel Kibby, Man Charged With Kidnapping

A New Hampshire man accused of kidnapping a 14-year-old girl and raping her over the course of nine months won't have some of the evidence collected from his home used against him at trial, but a judge otherwise has rejected most of his requests.

Prosecutors say 35-year-old Nathaniel Kibby kidnapped the girl on her way home from school in Conway in October 2013, then imprisoned her in his home and a storage unit until July 2014. He faces more than 200 charges.

Ruling on nearly a dozen motions Monday, a judge granted Kibby's request to suppress evidence of some of the guns seized from his home but allowed other items, including a mask, a laptop computer and sex toys. The trial is scheduled to start June 20.
