At least four children were seen being taken away in ambulances after a crash in Providence, Rhode Island, involving a school bus, utility van and another vehicle.
The Providence Journal reports that the bus involved in the crash at about 9 a.m. Monday was carrying children that appeared to be elementary school age. Another vehicle was a National Grid van.
Four children were seen being taken away from the scene in two ambulances.
About a dozen children were still on the bus after the accident.
A fire dispatcher did not immediately have information on the number of children injured and the extent of their injuries.
