Neo-Nazi Signs Posted in Leominster; Rip Them Down, Mayor Says

The group Patriot Front is reportedly responsible for the racist and anti-Semitic signage around Leominster

Several neo-Nazi stickers were discovered in the city of Leominster over the weekend, something that the Massachusetts city's mayor decried on Monday.

“Leominster is no place for hate and no one will tear us down with disgusting/hateful stickers,” Mayor Dean Mazzarella said in a Facebook post.

People have been ripping the signs down around Leominster as soon as they see them, according to the Leominster Police Department, and Mazzarella encouraged citizens to continue tearing down signs, saying that they should be treated like graffiti.

“See one, tear it off,” he said.

The white supremacist group Patriot Front has been blamed for the postings. Group members “maintain that their ancestors conquered America and bequeathed it solely to them,” according to the Anti-Defamation League, which tracks hate groups.
