A 57-year-old woman is in critical condition after she was hit by a car in Bristol on Wednesday afternoon.
Leslie Davenport, of Bristol, was hit in the area of 285 Middle St. as she was crossing the street just after 2 p.m. and she sustained serious injuries to the head, chest and a leg, according to police.
LifeStar responded and transported Davenport to Hartford Hospital, where she is listed in critical condition.
The 56-year-old man who was driving the 2011 Ford Taurus that hit the woman was not injured.
