Lincoln Logs to Be Manufactured in Maine

The Kennebec Journal Reports that 80 percent of the Lincoln Logs will be manufactured at the Burnham facility as soon as Pride's operations are at capacity

Lincoln Logs will soon be manufactured in Maine.

Republican Gov. Paul LePage announced Wednesday that the iconic toy logs that children use to construct miniature buildings will be made at Pride Manufacturing in Burnham.

The Kennebec Journal Reports that 80 percent of the Lincoln Logs will be manufactured at the Burnham facility as soon as Pride's operations are at capacity. The company anticipates that it the contact with Lincoln Logs will create 5 to 10 new jobs.

Lincoln Logs were invented nearly a decade ago by John Lloyd Wright, the son of architect Frank Lloyd Wright.
