MBTA Advisory Panel Chair Resigns

The man Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker selected last week to resurrect the MBTA resigned Friday.

Chairman Paul Barrett of Baker's advisory panel on the MBTA tendered his resignation and it was accepted, confirmed Jim Conroy, a senior adviser for Baker.

"The Governor is disappointed that these issues were not disclosed, and now looks forward to the MBTA panel continuing their important charge under new leadership," said Conroy.
