The Transit Police Detectives in Boston have executed a search warrant in East Boston relative to the double shooting that occurred at the MBTA's Maverick Square Blue Line Station on January 19.
The detectives have also secured an arrest warrant for Rogelio Alvarado, 21, the man believed to be responsible for the shooting, for Armed Assault with Intent to Murder, Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon and multiple firearm violations.
The police say that Alvarado should be considered armed and dangerous.
