An MBTA bus operator has returned a woman's wallet that contained over $1,000 in cash.

On Oct. 23, Richard Cooper, a 28-year MBTA employee, reported that he found a wallet someone had left behind on the bus he operates.

A Charlestown woman, Jazmine Tucker, reported the wallet missing soon after. Once she verified the contents, bus supervisor Michelle Smallcomb handed the wallet over to her.

Tucker said she was on her way to the bank when she left her wallet behind.
