The MBTA's Orange Line experienced delays late Thursday night due to police activity.
According to the agency, Boston Police requested service be halted outside Jackson Station southbound around 10:40 p.m. due to an armed robbery suspect running on the row.
One train was cleared to search for the suspect.
Around 11:44 p.m. the row was cleared and power was restored.
Buses were phased out and normal service resumed.
However, riders posted on social media that they had to walk through the tunnels while police searched for the suspect.
