    Maine Couple Charged With Breaking Into State Police Trooper's Home

    A Maine couple has been charged with breaking into the home of a State Police Trooper.

    Intruders entered the Standish residence of Trooper Joseph Bureau during the first week of September. Two handguns and one rifle were stolen, as well as a State Police ID and personal items.

    Mark Lindholm, 43, and Meggan Wainwright, 34, both of 473 Methodist Rd. in Westbrook were arrested on Oct. 23, and have since been charged with burglary and theft.

    The trooper's three stolen guns have not been located.

    The investigation is ongoing.
