Maine Drug Enforcement Agency Responds to 45th Meth Lab This Year

The Maine Drug Enforcement Agency, MDEA, searched a house and camper for a suspected meth lab in Wells. This is the MDEA's 45th response to a meth lab in 2015, which is an all-time record for the department.

According to MDEA, the lab was found Monday night. The response team arrived Tuesday morning to search the Route 1 home and the driveway camper.

The Wells Police and Fire Departments, along with state chemists and the Maine Department of Environmental Protection are assisting MDEA in this case.

As of now, no one is in custody. Necn will update this story with any new developments.
