A 2½-week-old baby died in Knox County, Maine overnight on Friday.
In an article from WCSH, it said that deputies responded to a home in Warren, Maine around 8:30 a.m. after the newborn was found unresponsive by her parents.
The baby's father, 26, and mother, 21, reported the death immediately, according to local police.
The scene was secured and the State Police Major Crimes Unit is investigating, as it does in every case of child death under the age of three.
