A Maine man has been arrested for selling heroin out of a motel, according to necn affiliate WCSH.
Police say 25-year-old Peter Chiumiento of Hancock was arrested Tuesday night.
According to police, Chiumiento was initially taken into custody by agents on five outstanding arrest warrants.
At the time of his arrest outside the Bangor motel room, he was found to be in possession of nearly $3,000 in cash.
Following his arrest, investigators obtained a search warrant for the room. Agents seized several grams of heroin and other evidence which indicated Chiumiento was trafficking drugs.
Bail has been set at $10,000 cash. The investigation is ongoing and more arrests are likely.
