Maine State Police ID Victim in 3rd Fatal Weekend Crash

Authorities have identified the Maine woman killed in a crash early Saturday morning.

Maine State Police say 25-year-old Amanda "Mandi" Rines of Greene was found dead in a single car crash a short distance from her home around 1 a.m. Saturday morning.

Investigators say Rines had gone off the road, crashing head on into a large tree. She wasn't wearing a seatbelt and alcohol is the main factor in the crash, state police said.

Authorities add this was the third fatal crash in Maine over the weekend.
