A major fire broke out Saturday in Provincetown on Cape Cod, Massachusetts, spreading to several restaurants.
The blaze lasted several hours during the day and was still being cleaned up by crews at 10:00 p.m., according to the Provincetown Police Department.
For Cape Cod, the tourist season officially starts on Memorial Day weekend. But, instead of being swamped with vacationers, Provincetown's Commercial Street - filled with shops and restaurants - was closed off while the fire raged.
According to police, the fire was battled at multiple popular eateries including the Red Shack, the Surf Club, and Tatiana's.
At this time, no injuries have been reported.
