Seniors at Dana Hall School in Wellesley, Massachusetts, are learning self defense in their gym class.
The class is lead by campus safety officer Charlie Henry, who has a black belt in Jujitsu and over 20 years of law enforcement experience. Henry coaches the girls through real world scenarios.
With last year's attacks along the Esplanade in Boston and an increase in college sexual assault cases, self-protection awareness is more important than ever. Girls who take the class feel more confident as they go off to college.
