Teen Killed in 3-Car Crash

One other person suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the crash that killed a 17-year-old boy in Rockland, Massachusetts.

The Rockland, Massachusetts, community is shaken up after a senior with a promising future's life came to a tragic end hours into the new year.

Patrick Sullivan, 17, was the driver of one of three vehicles that crashed at the corner of Beech Street and Standpipe Drive around 2:50 a.m. Thursday. Police say they tried to extricate Sullivan from out of the destroyed car, but it was too late.

One other person was transported to South Shore Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The crash was so bad it left yards of debris alongside Beech Street.

Police are still investigating whether the drivers were racing.
